Carnglaze CavernsJust a couple of kilometres from St. Neot's, Carnglaze Caverns are the result of years of local slate mining. Three underground caverns and a tour lasting 45 minutes will take you 60m underground and 150m into the hillside. Beautiful colours and a spectacularly blue-green subterranean lake make this a truly wonderful place. Other attractions at Carnglaze Caverns is the Enchanted Dell, a place where fairies, mushrooms and even a dragon look comfortably at home. Also on site is the Rum Store which stocked the Royal Navy's supply in WWII.
