Bodmin and Wenford Railway

The only steam operated standard gauge railway in Cornwall, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway will take you through thirteen miles of colourful countryside. On your tour, you'll stop at Bodmin General Station where you'll be able to see repair work being carried out on locomotives. The next stop at Boscarne Junction will stop you close to the Camel Trail which is an old trackbed running from Wadebridge to Wenfordbridge. Just 25minutes away from here is an unusual English attraction, the Camel Valley Vineyard. Bodmin Parkway with its converted signal box café is a good place to alight for Lanhydrock. From here, a 40 minute walk on the old carriage drive will take you to the wonderful Victorian mansion.
