I visited Rottingdean a few weeks ago, the weather wasnt the best but I still ventured to Rudyard Kiplings gardens and stumbled along a wonderful new tea garden behind The Grange libary just opposite the pond that for under £10 I had the most wonderful homemade quiche with a large helping of salad, a freshly brewed herbal tea and the the most exsquistic cranberry and orange cake I have ever tasted, eventhough I couldnt decide on which homemade desert to choose from as there was such a selection, they even did a number which were gluten free!We sat in the cosy heated barn out of the rain and by the end of the meal we watched the sun come up in the flower blooming garden through the window. The service was so lovely, 5 stars, check it out!
