Was here that summer and hope things have not changed too much since that time. My gr. gr. grandparents are buried in the cemetery that was (at that time) below a parking lot near the road that runs around the castle. Was never able to find the headstones, and wonder if anyone in the town has a register of the graves in the various cemeteries? Believe it was a Congregational cemetery, altho they were reportedly Methodists. The family name was Stoneman.
We had a wonderful time in Launceston and environs. Visited Boscastle, Tintagel, the otter farm. Drove up into the moors to see wild ponies. Drove down to Plymouth to see the Drake memorial. Also saw St. Stephan's and many other charming villages. Visited the museum in the lovely Georgian house. Very much want to back with my now-grown son.
