Hi my name is alice mc meechan-snair I was home for the first time in 30 yrs in july,when I seen this picture of the breweryit made me home sick.I spent alot of time there with my friend and had great times.As a matter of fact I had such a great time,I came back in oct,and I brought my sister with me and she love it over in alloa.I just want to say thank you to all my family and friends,and I will be back .July ,oct 2006,alice mcmeechan-snair

You come from a nice place, although we didn't spend long in this town, we found the locals to be very friendly, one workman was going to let as climb some scaffolding to take a photo looking down on the town but his supervisor was on site and since we didn't have hard hats...

Alloa is very dirty town now, i visited places like Ashley Terrace and Fairyburn where i came from 25 years ago i was astonished at the amount of litter that those places have thrown about, Whats more astonishing is the amount of council tax you pay thier for that service compared to here in Australia and we pay half that amount, Im afraid that the aussies wouldnt have a bar of it mates..Get you Authority to do something for the money you pay them..Clean up the town.
